Of eight unique stone figures bought at a dirt market in the 1990’s, this is one of the few left. This figure is stunning! A heavy breasted woman is sitting on the ground on her hands. She has a serene look on her face, with it’s exaggerated Asian features – slanted eyes, a flared nose and a broad mouth. Hand-carved from non-precious black-green stone, this figure exudes fertility and curiosity. Dimensions: H 14 cm x W 9 cm x L 8 cm. Weight: 1.1 kg. I have never seen any other carvings in this style.
